Don't let the raw finish fool you, there is A LOT going on in this cymbal, both visually and audibly. It's as if all of the sounds that a cymbal can make are all happening at the same time in this baby. It's kind of dry, but with a lot of wash. Good sparkle. It crashes. Somewhat integrated bell that still has plenty of power. And the looks are amazing. The bottom is lathed but the top is unlathed to show off the most magnificent-looking blank I've yet to encounter. There are greens, browns, greys, blacks, and some beautiful reds. It made me feel bad to cover the surface with hammer marks!
