Mod - 13.75" Hats from CB700, 762/854g

These hi hats started as a set of CB700 hi hats that measure 13.75". Internet research says that they were likely made by UFIP. Weight has been removed and they've been rehammered to lower the pitch and add complexity. These are more straight-ahead sounding than most of my hi hat modifications.

  • B8 bronze
  • Top was lathed from 874g down to 762g
  • Bottom was lathed from 958g down to 854g
  • Bottom cymbal was rehammered
  • Pitch lowered, wash and complexity increased
